Security Information

For security purposes, we deploy SUExec here at MyUnixHost.com.

This means that any CGI scripts (PERL, Python, etc) run under your user name instead of the Apache user. This allows you to set ownership and permissions on your web directory to yourself only.

Additionally, PHP runs through php-fpm instead of Apache directly. While this creates a slight performance impact, it is the most secure way we have found to run PHP on a shared environment.
